WHAT AN AMAZING DAY! Ok so it rained nearly non-stop but this was such an exceptional wedding nonetheless. As Pete and Alice made their final preparations before their joint entrance, the sound of heavenly choir music drifted across from the marquee. This set the tone for a day that felt magical in so many ways – the setting, the gathering of their warm, fun and spirited friends and family, the sense of connection, more breathtaking music in the evening and the celebration of a couple so highly regarded and loved. STEVE AND RACHEL got married on a gloriously sunny Saturday earlier this month – one of those days when you think England has the best climate in the world. This was such a relaxed day – for example Rachel discussing whether to have eggs or granola for a snack about 30 minutes before the ceremony was due to start!  A real privilege to be welcomed along to photograph the marriage of such a loving and unassuming couple. After preparations there was a relaxed but emotional service at Wadsley Church followed by a brilliant and also emotional marquee reception at Thornseat Lodge . Set with it’s wide open views of the Peak District – this was a great location for a very special gathering of family and friends to celebrate the lovely Ben and Brooke tying the knot. Here’s a sneak preview of Babs and Milly’s wedding at St Peters Alstonefield and Uppermoor Farm in Parwich. Both of my sister-in laws were married at St Peters so it was lovely to return to capture Babs and Milly’s special day. The lovely wedding of Ian and Jennifer at The Norfolk Arms, Sheffield. This was a great celebration in the middle of the hottest June for forty years – a proper English summers day!  We managed to grab half an hour to head off further into the peaks (despite the jubilant cèilidh being in full swing) to get some epic romantic sunset shots – very calm, peaceful, warm and great light to shoot in. Alex and Sam’s inspiring wedding was held at All Saints Church at Wath followed by a reception at the grand Wortley Hall.
